I will be playing at the Northwest Folklife Festival this year -- I last played Folklife back in 1990, so this is a return to a musical starting place for me. I go on on Sunday May 26th at 3pm. I will be playing Irish Traditional Music (Reels, Jigs, Slip Jigs, Polkas and whatnot) fingerstyle on acoustic guitar. This is instrumental music. I only get 30 minutes to perform so this will be an abbreviated version of the show I'll be doing at the Owl in June -- with maybe a couple different tune sets. I'll be playing at a the Storm Welcome Stage -- a new stage on the West side of the center where 2nd Ave comes in right between Fisher Pavilion and Climate Pledge Arena.
