I will be opening up the St. Patrick's Day Schedule at Conor Byrne with an hour of Jigs, Reels, Slip Jigs, polkas, and a little bit of older Irish harp music all played on solo guitar. Take the day off work and celebrate Irish culture with me down at Conor Byrne. Hey it's also Nancy's birthday so come out for the party. Remember, you can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning -- or at least by noon.

We'll be opening the bar on Saturday with a 2-hour set of traditional Irish Pub tunes, a few covers of bands like The Pogues, Flogging Molly, a couple of Steve Earle's Irish songs, and a few of our originals as well. Expect to see me on Accordion, guitar, and tenor banjo. Should be fun.

I'll be back on stage playing button accordion, some guitar, and maybe even the banjo with Cooper Point Rd on February 12th at Slim's Last Chance. This set will be more American folk and Americana to fit the mood at Slim's. We're excited to be playing with Bullitt County who bring some great Americana and Country Rock, ando pening the night will be Rankin Crow who we got to play a show with last spring at St. Andrews Pub. This is one of the last few shows at Slim's before the new management takes over so come on out and celebrate everything Slim's has brought our local music community over the years. We look forward to seeing the new future at Slim's as well.

Yes, one day after I play a irish trad guitar set at Conor Byrne I will be back there with Cooper Point Rd playing a whole pile of Irish folk songs (and some originals and American songs as well. We are playing from Noon to 3, and this one is free so come on down for a pint and enjoy more St. Patrick's Day weekend festivities.

Cooper Point Rd will be playing at the 2nd Annual SMASH Irish Fest which is a benefit show supporting SMASH. (https://www.smashseattle.org/) SMASH provides access to free and low-cost healthcare services for musicians living in King, Snohomish, Pierce, Mason, Kitsap, and Thurston counties, plus support for navigating the complicated and frustrating healthcare system.

I'll be playing an hour of Irish Traditional Music on fingerstyle guitar as part of the St. Patrick's Day weekend festivities down at Conor Byrne. This is a bit of a warmer upper show for some really great traditional music from Caragaline which starts at 3pm at Conor Byrne, so come in to catch me playing at 1:30 and stick around for tunes after with Caragaline.

Cooper Point Rd will be playing at the New Frontier Lounge in Tacoma opening for Steve Aliment and Annie O'Neill. I'll be playing accordion with Cooper Point Rd and maybe a little guitar too.

I will again be playing music on the porch at Conor Byrne during the Sunday Market. With me will be the fellas from Cooper Poiint Rd, and we'll do a mix of my Irish Traditional music on guitar along with some Cooper Point Rd tunes, and a bunch of Irish pub songs, and whatever else trikes our fancy at the time. I'll be switching off on guitar and Accordion. Come down and have a drink with us. Don't worry, if we end up with miserable weather we'll play inside.

I'll be playing accordion with Cooper Point Rd at the Tractor Tavern in Ballard with Pete Marshall and the New Broke West on February 2nd. The Show opens with Earl Brooks at 7pm, Pete Marshall and the New Broke West go on at 7:45, and we'll be rounding out the evening at 8:45. It's an early Sunday evening show for all you folks with thrilling Monday morning plans. As with all the Tractor shows, you can get your tickets in advance online through ticketweb.

I will be starting the music off at 9 pm playing a solo set of Irish Traditional Music on acoustic guitar. Cooper Point Road will go on immediately after I'm done and I will mostly be playing button accordion with Cooper Point Road, and we will do two one-hour sets with a break in between and should finish off right about midnight. This is going to be a great show with a wide range of music and I will be playing for close to 3 hours.

I will be playing at the Northwest Folklife Festival this year -- I last played Folklife back in 1990, so this is a return to a musical starting place for me. I go on on Sunday May 26th at 3pm. I will be playing Irish Traditional Music (Reels, Jigs, Slip Jigs, Polkas and whatnot) fingerstyle on acoustic guitar. This is instrumental music. I only get 30 minutes to perform so this will be an abbreviated version of the show I'll be doing at the Owl in June -- with maybe a couple different tune sets. I'll be playing at a the Storm Welcome Stage -- a new stage on the West side of the center where 2nd Ave comes in right between Fisher Pavilion and Climate Pledge Arena.
